Why Mortar? (vs the CurseForge app)
The CurseForge app is Overwolf's client for the CurseForge catalog (Minecraft, World of Warcraft). Mortar searches CurseForge too. Use Mortar for its other games, several sites, or an open-source app with no ads.

Highlighted: the stronger of the two, or both where they are even.
Where the CurseForge app is stronger
- Minecraft modpacks and World of Warcraft addons, which Mortar does not manage.
- macOS builds, and scheduled automatic mod updates.
Moving from the CurseForge app
For Stardew Valley and The Sims 4, use Import from the game's Mods folder on Profiles. Mortar copies the mods into a profile and leaves the game folder unchanged.
